Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public access to many nonexempt records, but Magoffin County records do not all sit in one office. The Circuit Court Clerk is the practical contact for Circuit Court and District Court case files, docket questions, court payments, probate filings, traffic matters, certified court copies, and older files that do not appear online. The County Clerk handles marriage licenses and local county records outside the court case file. The sheriff, Salyersville police, regional jail, Kentucky Court of Justice, CHFS Vital Statistics, and other state agencies each have separate roles. This site brings those channels together without treating them as one interchangeable records office.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Kentucky court, Magoffin County clerk's office, sheriff's office, jail, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
